Getting involved

Parents, students, artists, educators, or anyone interested in keeping culture alive in our area: 6 On the Square would like to be a thriving arts presence in our community but we need your help. Here are some ways to get involved.

1. Give us your feedback:
   Help make this vision a reality; ideas, comments and suggestions are welcome.
2. Support the Arts with Membership/Donations:
   With the support of individuals, corporate leaders, and foundation partners, 6 on the Square will lead a movement to advance the arts. We empower people and organizations with tools that help them take action. Please contact us if you would like to make a donation at any level or become a 6 on the Square member. Membership forms with benefit and service descriptions will be sent. Charter memberships also available. Your membership supports the arts in Chenango County.
3. Support the Arts with your Volunteer Time:
   Volunteers will be needed in all capacities. (Cleaning; carpentry; sound/lights; Food handling/kitchen work, etc.)
   Established committees are:
• Facilities (Interior Design and set up);
• Event Scheduling/arrangements;
• Membership.

Please indicate what you'd be interested in doing and/or your special skills to better help us determine where you'd be the best fit..

4. Entertainers/artists: Tell us about yourself
   To be considered for performing at 6 On The Square, please send the following information via postal mail:
   1. A list of venues where you have performed.
   2. One CD of your music, representative of the material you would be performing, if booked.
   3. Your performance fees and any other requirements.
   4. A list or range of dates you would be available to perform. You should also include a list of other venues where you will be appearing if you are on a regional tour.
   5. Complete contact information, including contact person, email address and telephone. Please send information to:

      Please make sure to include any relevant press releases, images or information about you and/or your group. If accepted, it would be helpful to email us any links to on line versions of press releases and high resolution images that might be used to help promote your appearance at 6OTS.
